IT Nation — Here’s What You Missed

Another IT Nation has come and gone, and from our perspective, it could not have been better. IT Nation is where we launched the IT Glue product, back in 2014, and as such it will always hold a special place in the hearts of the #GlueCrew. This year, we pulled out all the stops to make the 2016 edition of IT Nation a blockbuster.

As a Platinum Sponsor, IT Glue brought a full crew to Orlando. We ran presentations and a bootcamp, which were very well-attended. It was amazing to see such a positive response to our preaching the doctrine of documentation. At the bootcamp, we were able to outline in more granular detail how IT Glue can improve MSP operations, to a packed house. On top of all that, IT Glue was awarded the Partner Choice Award for Best Breakout Session for the amazing “Selling Documentation: Your Next Revenue Stream” presentation.

Our booth was buzzing the entire time. There was so much love from our partners. And we gave away a lot of prizes, too — Fitbits, Apple TVs, Bose® speakers and more. We also announced the 2016 winner of the IT Glue Documentation Excellence Award. Selection was based on product adoption, community contribution, utilization, and creativity. The prize went to our friends over at Nucleus Networks.

Just in case IT Nation wasn’t huge enough already, IT Glue dropped new features at a furious pace. If you were suffering whiplash reading our Twitter feed, don’t fret. Here’s what we announced.

To sum it up in a word — wow.  A full-on blitz of new features, presentations, a bootcamp, prize giveaways, a hospitality suite, and Platinum sponsorship.  IT Nation was a monster event, and we met a lot of amazing people in Orlando, and a lot of new MSPs with whom we look forward to working in the coming year.
