It’s that time of year again! The IT Glue 2020 Global MSP Benchmark Report is here, and it’s a must read.
The story goes like this. We ran the initial Benchmark Survey in February, and turned the survey off in early March, right as the novel coronavirus was officially declared a pandemic. Within days, the entire world turned upside down. Everybody was working from home, or not working at all. The health consequences of COVID-19 were brutal and the economic consequences almost as bad.
It didn’t take too long to figure out that if we published a Benchmark Report that only contained data from before the pandemic, it would not be particularly relevant to people reading it after the pandemic. (Or still in the throes of the pandemic, depending on where you live).
In May, we conducted the Global Benchmark Follow-Up Survey. It was a smaller survey, but it allowed us to compare the state of the MSP business in the post-COVID-19 world.
As a result, the IT Glue 2020 Global MSP Benchmark Report is the only benchmark report in the channel that brings together data from immediately before the pandemic and a couple of months into it.
