GlueX 2021: Day 2 Recap

Happy GlueX 2021 Day 2! If you’d like to catch up on what you may have missed on Day 1, here’s our recap. We brought out the big guns on Day 2 as we kicked things into high gear with our marquee speaker and adventurer, writer and television presenter par excellence, Bear Grylls.
Bear gave us a fascinating insight on the things that have shaped him, taking us on a journey on how to overcome adversity and learning from your lows to inspire your progress to greater heights. After the epic challenges of 2020, this kind of growth-oriented insight was just what the doctor ordered. His never-say-die spirit and tales of resilience, courage and grit delivered plenty of much-needed inspiration.
The positive vibe of that incredible opener continued right into our IT Glue Product Update segment. Here are a few of the big feature and function innovations that we have in store for you in 2021:
ServiceNow – Integration with ServiceNow is on the horizon, enabling you to bring organizations, configurations, contacts and locations into IT Glue and enabling 2-way sync.
Kaseya Compliance Manager – Get the tools you need to search for IT Glue documents inside of KCM and attach those documents to a relevant worksheet as evidence of compliance.
Domotz – A much-requested new integration between Domotz and IT Glue is coming your way.
VSA – Next in development, an IT Glue and VSA integration that allows 1-click access using IT Glue credentials to log in to a remote Windows device or when browsing through applications on both Mac and Windows OS.
ConnectWise Manage Integration – We’re also making it easier to integrate with ConnectWise Manage with our new “Sync Mode” options.

The energy didn’t let up during the rest of the day’s program either as Danny Jenkins, CEO Threatlocker, took us into the world of Zero Trust security with a session on “How Zero Trust Is Shaping the Future of Cybersecurity and What This Means for Your MSP” while also showing how it can be beneficial to MSPs. This in-depth session, which also included the importance of secure network controls and regulating user privilege, introduced Zero Trust security as a winning strategy to combat the volatility of today’s threat landscape.
In the midst of all this excitement, we had impactful breakout sessions with other MSP all-stars, announced more unbeatable limited-time deals and gave away a galaxy of fun prizes. All in all, this year’s GlueX was a definite win for everyone. We will be returning to our signature live event format next year and we certainly hope you’ll join us. See you at GlueX 2022!
