MyGlue New Features
BY IT GLUE | June 04, 2021
Since the time of its launch, MyGlue has evolved into much more than just a password management tool. The more we talked about it to our MSP customers, the more we realized its significance as a collaborative tool. Today, MyGlue is a Collaboration-as-a-Service (CaaS) portal that provides MSPs with a direct line for meaningful collaboration with their clients. From password vault to checklist to structured documentation, MyGlue comes packed with a range of innovative features tailor-made for MSPs.
Innovation is something that never stops here at IT Glue. As part of our development efforts, we’ve built some new security, collaboration and self-service features into the MyGlue roadmap. Here’s a glimpse of our latest additions and how you can get the most out of them.
IT Glue and MyGlue – Personal Business Password
Most MSPs still aren’t sure how their clients store passwords. According to the 2021 IT Glue Global MSP Benchmark Report, 38% of MSPs have no idea how their clients manage passwords. Although MSPs are realizing the significance of a dedicated password manager in recent years, we still have a long way to go.
MyGlue can help you overcome this issue by offering a way for your clients to store their personal business passwords as well as team-based passwords in an SOC 2-compliant tool.
MyGlue Chrome Extension – Password Auto Creation
This is one of the most sought-after additions of MyGlue users. We just made password storage a lot easier with the help of an update to the Chrome Extension. When your clients create new passwords, they will be auto-prompted to add their passwords to the MyGlue extension. You can prevent a good number of password-reset tickets with this new update alone.
MyGlue Interface Branding
We realize the importance of maintaining your brand when interacting with your clients. This has led to us developing MyGlue Interface Branding, where you can now replace the MyGlue logo on the portal with your custom MSP logo. As your clients interact with you through the portal, they can now identify with your brand.
MyGlue Help Center
Are you tired of getting a barrage of calls and IT tickets to fix mundane IT issues? You can eliminate all this by using the MyGlue Help Center. It allows you to share a document with all or selected clients as a read-only document. Rather than sending a “how-to” document individually to all of your clients, you just have to create it once and your clients can access it whenever they need to. Also, if any updates to the document are required, you just have to update it once on MyGlue and all of your clients will automatically see the latest up-to-date version.
For instance, you can create a document on “How to Configure Your VPN” and upload it to the help center. Rather than bugging you with new tickets, your clients and their users now have a simple guide on how to set up their VPN. You can share any type of article, after-hours emergency contact info, etc., through the help center.
Now that you’ve gotten a glimpse of all the new features at MyGlue, it’s time to explore it some more and get an idea of what it can do for you.
