AD Password Rotation Scheduler (NOW LIVE)
Regularly changing passwords is an established industry best practice. However, the manual process of rotating passwords can be cumbersome and time-consuming. Through Network Glue, AD passwords can now be automatically rotated within IT Glue based on a user-defined frequency. This enables enhanced compliance and security, effectively putting password rotation on autopilot.

IT Glue Administrators can set the preferred frequency for AD password rotation. Selected AD passwords on a predetermined schedule will undergo automatic rotation, and the updated password records will be seamlessly documented in both IT Glue and Active Directory.

Unified Executive Summary Reports in myITprocess
In myITprocess, we’ve simplified the process of preparing for client meetings by allowing you to add reports automatically to client presentations from other IT solutions. This functionality streamlines your QBRs and enriches the content you can share while getting time back. Currently, this is possible with Network Detective Pro, so you can add various risk metrics directly to myITprocess presentations and effectively communicate these risks to your clients in an easily digestible format.

What’s even more exciting is that we’re continually expanding the list of integrations for this feature, with plans to incorporate more of our IT Complete solutions in the near future. You can expect to be able to add Autotask and Datto RMM reports that include SLA and ticket metrics before the end of October.

With Unified Executive Summary Reports in myITprocess, you can eliminate the need for cumbersome data copying and pasting between different sources when creating customer presentations.

SSO Access Control – Bypass Capability (COMING SOON)
The SSO Access Control feature empowers you to enforce Single Sign-On (SSO) login for IT Glue, eliminating the need for local IT Glue credentials if preferred. With the latest enhancement, users included in the SSO bypass list can continue to log in using SSO while retaining the option to use local credentials in case of an emergency restricting access to their SSO tool.

Robotic Process Automation with CooperBots (COMING SOON)
Through our new intelligent system, a collaborative effort involving Autotask, Datto RMM and IT Glue, you can now automate daily, repetitive tasks for your team, such as fixing slow internet connection or resetting a password. Accessing the one-time password (OTP) code with multifactor authentication (MFA) isn’t always convenient, but with IT Glue’s OTP feature, it can be a breeze. Two-factor authentication (2FA) or MFA has become vital for today’s password security. By adding a second layer of authentication, you can verify whether the person accessing an account is legitimate.

OTPs are common under MFA procedures. An OTP is an automatically generated sequence of numeric characters that expires after a certain timeframe. However, accessing the OTP code can sometimes be cumbersome, requiring manual scanning of a QR code onto multiple devices or tracking down the code owner. Due to this inconvenience, some individuals skip implementing 2FA/MFA measures, compromising the security of sensitive data.

Fortunately, IT Glue’s OTP feature offers a solution that makes accessing the OTP code seamless and simplifies importing and exporting the OTP secret key. 1. IT Glue administrators will have full control over the settings for this feature through the IT Glue web app.
2. Offline Mode for Passwords will only be available on Microsoft’s Windows OS devices. The dedicated Windows Sync service will maintain security and update your encrypted passwords.
3. The brand-new Offline Mode Chrome Extension will support passwords — shared, personal, vaulted and OTP codes. It is available through the Google App Store (currently only visible and available to those participating in our Beta program).

Guarantee business continuity

Offline Mode for Passwords provides emergency access to all your passwords, even when IT Glue is under maintenance. As a result, you can rest assured knowing you will still have access to your passwords in any unforeseen and emergency situations. Considering the complexity of today’s IT environments, these scenarios are becoming more common.

The compliance needs and security requirements of clients are increasing every day. With Offline Mode for Passwords, you can access your most sensitive IT Glue assets — your stored passwords — anytime from anywhere. This feature can also come in handy when some clients have stringent compliance and security guidelines requiring access to passwords at any given time.

Full control and visibility

When your business is growing, data security is of paramount concern. To ensure maximum security, administrators must control who can access passwords offline. You must ensure your users can only see what they are allowed to see, even during an emergency.

With the Offline Mode Chrome Extension, your team will only see passwords that they are allowed to see in IT Glue. You do not need to worry about sensitive passwords being available to the wrong team members.

For General Availability coming later: Once Offline Mode for Password is available for everyone, Activity Logs will also sync.
